Membership in the Society Includes:

• An opportunity to join other dedicated people who believe that the preservation of our past is the gateway to our future.

• A subscription to THE HISTORIAN, the Society's award-winning newsletter of local and regional history.  Published quarterly, THE HISTORIAN includes original articles of interest to the Marinette County area, photographs, maps, book reviews, and much more of local and regional interest.

• Evening membership meetings, as announced, usually featuring a program of historical interest.

• Free admission to our museum on Stephenson Island.

• Participation in the Wisconsin Council for Local History.

• Participation in society events and activities.

Members may serve as:

• Directors & officers of the organization

• Writers

• Photographers

• Editors and processors for the newsletter

• Exhibit researchers and catalogers

• Produce and install exhibits

• Museum guides

• Gift Shop Attendants

• Project and class leaders
